About the position:
We’re hiring a Business Development Team Lead who understands the modern web - and how accessibility, user experience, and AI-driven discovery intersect.In this player-coach role, you’ll take ownership of outbound lead generation while helping build the structure and culture of a growing sales development team.
You’ll speak fluently about inclusive design, conversion optimization, and how future-proofing digital experiences translates into measurable business value.
What you'll do:
- - Lead and execute targeted outbound prospecting to generate high-quality leads.
- Craft personalized, insight-led messaging that speaks to accessibility, CRO, SEO, and user experience.
- Translate complex accessibility challenges into compelling business cases across marketing, compliance, and digital teams.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule and support discovery calls and product demos.
- Maintain accurate lead records and pipeline tracking in HubSpot, continuously refining your strategy.
- Stay informed on the evolving accessibility and AI discovery landscape.
- Work cross-functionally to iterate and improve our outreach playbooks and messaging frameworks.
- Play a leading role in mentoring and supporting future BDR hires as we scale.
What we're looking for:
- - 5-8 years of experience in business development, outbound sales, or web-focused roles.
- A strong understanding of web environments - such as digital agencies, UX/CRO platforms, martech, or SEO ecosystems.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in digital accessibility, inclusive design, or AI-based search/discovery.
- Excellent communication skills - able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences with confidence.
- A proven track record of exceeding pipeline and lead-generation targets.
- Proficiency with HubSpot (or similar CRM) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in fast-paced environments.Previous experience mentoring peers or supporting team development is a plus.
- A sense of professional polish and sophistication - you know how to show up with clarity and credibility.
