Ken Kralick, CEO of QualiBooth and former Global Head of eCommerce at Puma and LVMH

Barcelona, Spain - July 8, 2025 - QualiBooth, a rapidly growing digital accessibility startup, today announced it has secured €2 million in new funding and established partnerships with several leading global retailers. The investment will support the company’s expansion into Europe, including the opening of a new office in Barcelona.

Founded in 2022, QualiBooth has rapidly become a trusted partner for brands and organizations seeking to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the European Accessibility Act (EAA), which came into effect on June 28th. One in five people worldwide, over 1.3 billion, live with disabilities, driving the need for accessible products. QualiBooth’s AI-powered platform offers a complete suite of tools that integrate seamlessly into development workflows, empowering product and engineering teams to create accessible, on-brand user experiences at scale.

The funding will accelerate product development and fortify QualiBooth’s investment in European market presence. The Barcelona office will serve as a hub for its customer success, marketing, and product design teams. The company also plans to accelerate its growth in the United States.

To date, QualiBooth has conducted over 1,000 accessibility audits and helped resolve billions of compliance issues. The platform detects up to 20% more issues than conventional tools and enables teams to take real, actionable steps toward full accessibility - beyond the superficial fixes offered by accessibility overlays and widgets.

“Less than 30% of European retailers currently publish accessibility statements", said Ken Kralick, CEO of QualiBooth and former Global Head of eCommerce at Puma and LVMH. “Yet as of June 28th, the EAA requires many to do so. We’re here to ensure compliance doesn’t come at the expense of user experience or brand trust. And while awareness around the link between LLM visibility and digital accessibility is improving, it remains surprisingly low.”

Clients using the platform cite accessibility scores above 90, significantly outperforming the industry norm of 63. Researchreleased by the company on the State of Accessibility Readiness in European eCommerce reveals a strong positive correlation between improved accessibility and online revenue growth. It attributes this growth, in part, to more accessible brands gaining greater visibility within Large Language Models (LLMs), enhancing their discoverability and reach.

About the European Accessibility Act (EAA)

Effective June 28, 2025, the European Accessibility Act mandates that many businesses operating in the EU ensure their digital products and services are accessible to people with disabilities. This includes e-commerce websites, banking apps, ticketing platforms, eReaders, media players, and customer service interfaces.
